Ciera arrived at the PRC in 2004 after living for four years in a human home in Indiana. Ciera is a very sweet girl and is kind and caring to her monkey companions. She especially loves to groom her good friend Luke long-tailed macaque, and the two will generally end a long grooming session with a lovely nap leaning up against one another. Ciera loves water (just like wild long-tailed macaques), so the caregivers are sure to provide Ciera with a wading pool to splash and soak in when the weather gets hot. Ciera is a lover of all food, but she especially likes frozen treats, pistachios, grapes, and avocados.
