Breanna, a hybrid rhesus/long-tailed macaque, arrived at the PRC in 2010 from Kenton County, Kentucky after her owners felt she would be better off in an environment where she could have monkey companions. Breanna lives with Caleb, a vervet monkey, and together they spend their days playing chase, grooming, or cuddling in the sunshine in their spacious enclosure. Breanna is a very sweet and loving companion to Caleb and has been like a big sister to him since he was a young monkey. Breanna loves to search for nuts and seeds in her forage pool, and her favorite foods are bananas, avocado, peanuts, and grapes.
