Elizabeth Gatlin

Animal Care Staff Supervisor

Elizabeth grew up near Chattanooga, TN and obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2017. She had always known that she wanted to work with animals from a young age and discovered her love of primates through various internships throughout college. She then ventured to the PRC in 2017 after graduation to participate in their Long-term Internship Program and fell in love with the sanctuary and its residents. After her internship she moved back to Tennessee and worked as an Animal Caregiver and Browse Coordinator for the Chattanooga Zoo for over three years. In June of 2021 she made the move to Kentucky with her husband Tanner to join the PRC team as a Primate Caregiver.
