It’s that time of year when everyone is in search of the perfect gift for their loved ones and friends, and the task can become quite daunting. For the animal lover in your life, why not give the gift of sanctuary to a primate who lives at the Primate Rescue Center through our Primate Pal Program? This is an amazing opportunity to help provide a PRC primate with food, shelter, enrichment, and medical care for one year while also giving your loved one the joy of receiving news and updates about their sponsored primate throughout the year. Your generosity is like two gifts in one!

The Primate Pal Program began in 2013 with the intent of giving donors a chance to bond with and direct their donations towards individual primates living at the PRC, and with the goal of finding sponsorship for 100% of our residents. Five years later, we are so very close to reaching that goal. Currently, 36 of the PRC residents have been sponsored but we would love to provide the remaining 12 monkeys with a Primate Pal this holiday season. Won’t you give the gift of sanctuary to one of these amazing monkeys?

Primate Pal sponsorships are easy to set up through our website. We have a couple of different options to allow donors to choose whether they would like to break up their donation into monthly installments of $12.50 or donate $150 to cover the entire year of sponsorship. Monthly installments are deducted automatically each month.  Once your annual sponsorship is nearing its renewal time, we will email you to see if you would like your sponsorship to continue for another year of care for your beloved Primate Pal.

Once you create your Primate Pal Sponsorship, you or whomever you have gifted this sponsorship to, will receive a package containing a Welcome Letter and FAQ, a certificate with the date of your symbolic adoption, a biography about your chosen Pal, a 5×7 photo of your Pal, a PRC decal, and the latest PRC newsletter Reaching Out.

This sponsorship includes a 1-year family membership to the Primate Rescue Center, which allows you to receive an invitation to our exclusive Annual Member Event in early summer! Your sponsorship also includes updates throughout the year via email and mail, so be sure to provide an email address that is checked regularly so that you or your loved one can keep up with your Pal.

100% of your donation goes to helping provide food, shelter, enrichment, and medical care for your Pal.
